Charity?

So many people are trying really hard, but they just don't have the mentality and natural predisposition for it. I don't know maybe it's the way that facts are being presented that bothers me. For example, the Kony 2012 thing? I've been bombarded with facts about it lately. I understand the reason for why you want to help, but the video really turns me off from wanting to know more. Here is an article explaining what I mean.

Maybe it's just me, maybe it's my way of thinking but I can't help but feel that when they say that the empowering feeling is really just them basking in their own self-glory.
