Tuesday Quotes!

You all know my love of language. Lyrics, teenager posts, fancy vocabulary. Poems, stories, etc. You get it.

I want to start doing a new series, sort of. Every Tuesday I'll find a quote, tell you what it means to me, and hopefully you'll comment on this post or blog your own opinion and reply with your thoughts. I'd like to make my blog more interactive and make this an open discussion kind of post, if I have enough viewers out there willing to participate.

QUOTE #1

"Experience is not what happens to you. It's what you do with what happens to you."
-Aldous Huxley

I fully agree with this one. You could go through tragedy or failure and wallow in self-pity. You're entitled to grievance but only for a while. If you never get over it, what does that change? Nothing. Rather if you learned something from it, whether how to do something better next time, how to grieve better, what helps you get over it, what about it made you upset, anything, then that's experience. You learned something.

Your thoughts?

I'M LONELY. You don't even have to sign in as anyone, you could troll the heck out of this blog if you really want to. Even if your comments are irrelevant or you start a comment war with yourself I don't mind.

I'd love to hear from you!
